Phonemic awareness for ESL teachers
Description
This 4-week intensive course equips ESL teachers with research-backed strategies to teach phonemic awareness effectively. Participants will explore the science of sound recognition, learn to assess students’ skills, and master multisensory techniques tailored for English Language Learners. Through interactive workshops, lesson planning, and peer feedback, teachers will gain practical tools to integrate phonemic awareness into their daily instruction—boosting students’ pronunciation, reading fluency, and spelling.
